I only have 5 easy steps for doing my eyebrows on a daily basis.
Step 1 : BRUSH IT UP! (Didn’t include a pic since it is just like brushing your hair)
It’s like fixing your hair, before you can style it, you must comb it or brush it 1st. Use a good spoolie to brush it up! This will allow you to see your brows’ shape and will give you a better idea which sections need some filling.
Step 2 : FRAME IT!
I love drawing the frames for my eyebrows because it tells me that this is the only section you should be working on. I love thicker eyebrows for some reasons so I have the tendency to go crazy on my filling. These frames remind
me of my limits. I used my@nyxcosmetics brow liner (brown) to draw my frames.
Step 3 : FILL IT IN
This to me is both the fun and the challenging part. I find it fun because this is the part that I see my eyebrows thicker than usual but it’s also challenging because sometimes you may have the tendency to fill in your eyebrows too much and you ended up having super dark brows which you’ll end up redoing. I recommend you using short dash-like strokes that will mimic your natural hair. Then gently fill in the areas as needed. The products used can vary depending on what the user is comfortable with or the needs of the brows. If you have oily skin, avoid oil based and waxy browliners. Here, I used my retractable browliner and brow mascara from @thefaceshopph @thefaceshop.official .
Prior to filling your eyebrows, you have to decide how dark you want it to be. Do you want it natural looking? Or are you going for the over the top brows? So you’d know what products and shades to use.
Step 4: FINAL BRUSHING!
Use your spoolie again. Gently brush it to blend out the colors and soften any lines that you think are too dark or harsh.
Step 5: HIGHLIGHT. (Forgot to take a pic of my brows after the highlighter. Check out my other pics to see)
I typically use highlighters for my eyebrows to look clean and sharp. You can also use your eye shadow or your powder but just make sure you use the appropriate shade. Using your highlighter, trace the frame you drew earlier to give you that clean, sharp and natural looking eyebrows.
Let me know your thoughts on this or feel free to reach out if there are any products you want me to try for you. ❤️
