Fit Me® Matte + Poreless Foundation face makeup. Mattifies and refines pores and leaves a natural, seamless finish.
I got this founation via a friend from the US so I am gonna tell you the first con, it is currently not available locally. But there are a lot of online sellers you can reach out to if you really want to try this. I also have an online store you can follow if you want. Details are listed at the end of this blog.
This foundation has a large color selection which is amazing. I believe they have 16 but I could be wrong. It is claimed to be ideal for normal to oily skin.
The product is stored in a glass transparent bottle. This is a bit smaller but surprisingly, a bit heavier than the Infallible foundation. I think Fit Me’s glass bottle is thicker and heavier.
I love how you can actually see the shade because of the transparent packaging. The front shows info about what the product is, recommended skin type, etc. The back shares the product’s claims which are:
1. mattifies and refines pores
2. Natural, seamless finish
You can see a sticker at the top of the cap that indicates the shade which I’m not so loving because the sticker can be removed or it can loosen after several usage and then you’ll never know what the shade is .
The biggest downside for me with the packaging is, it doesn’t have a pump. I would have loved to see a pump in the packaging. For me, it just makes it so much easier to use with a pump and without it, applying it can get a bit messy.
Applying it was easy breezy. I noticed that it sets quickly so you need to work with it as fast as you can. I didn’t put any primer to really test the longevity of the product. I’d say this is medium coverage because it did cover my blemishes and concealed dark spots. I didn’t feel the need to use a concealer. I do want to point out that it clings on to dry patches big time.
After 1st application, it does cover your pores and mattifies your face but it looked like I have a lot of makeup. It looked too much for a day at work. It just didn’t look natural at all. It must be the shade I picked. But I noticed that as time goes by, the foundation looked a lot better and nicer.
After around 6 hours, I felt that it was too oily and I just had to blot. The product clinged on to the blotting paper but didn’t really create a big impact on my face. On the 7th hour, I just felt so oily and I had to blot again and put on some setting powder.
Here are some suggestions:
If you have dry or combo skin, do not forget your primer. Using a beauty blender to apply this is much recommended.
Overall, this foundation just did not work for me at all. It’s not going to be a fave. Go try it for yourself and let me know how you feel about it by leaving a comment below.
