Shinier Crowning Glory in just one wash!

I’m staring at a bag of samples that I have collected from different stores like Sephora, Ulta, Nordstrom, etc. It got me thinking – can one really decide whether or not to buy a product just by these samples?

It gave me an idea that I hope to be of help to other people as well.  Starting today, I am adding a new segment in my blog site called Sunday is Sample Day. Today, I am sharing my thoughts on the IGK Shampoo and Conditioner Sample that I picked up from Sephora.

My hair is naturally straight and thin. I never had issues with keeping it soft and shiny. But that changed when I started dyeing my hair and let us not forget, the amazing hair tools that we, ladies use on a daily basis. I blow dry my hair almost everyday and I use straighteners and curling irons to style it.

It’s sad to say but my hair has become dry and dull. Not even close to what it was. I don’t think it will ever be. But I stopped pouting over something that I can never bring back. Instead, I push myself to focus on what I can do about it.

I got this sample from Sephora a few weeks back and finally got the chance to try it. I think I looked at my hair a hundred times the day I used this. I guess, I wanna make sure I don’t miss anything in my review. So here comes the verdict.

Is there enough product in this sample to decide if you wanna buy the product or not? The answer is, Yes! That’s at least for me. I have a decent amount of hair and it is long enough to cover my arm pits but not long enough to cover boobs or reach my belly button like those mermaids in the movies. I hope you get the picture. Anyways, if your hair is as thick and as long as mine, then this sample is good for one use. If you have shorter hair, this may last for two or three baths. Depends on how much you want to use of course.

I actually enjoyed the products! This combo does what it claims to do, or maybe more. My hair felt super soft and shiny. It looked incredibly hydrated, healthy and bouncy.  It did not weigh my hair down at all. It has a light and fruity scent that lasts all day. What’s weird is, it smells kinda coconut-ish but I don’t see coconut in its ingredients. So, it must be my nose that’s having issues. LOL But I do know that, I love the smell.

It surprisingly looked and felt better than when I used a hair mask or treatment.

Damaged, Dull, Dehydrated – if your hair is one or all of these Ds, or if you simply want soft and healthy looking hair, I strongly recommend this combo. Sure! They cost twice as much or more than your typical drugstore shampoo and conditioner but if you want your crowning glory to be shinier that it already is, I think this combo would be a great investment.
